# Configuring video player settings

The **Video Player Settings** in MyStudio allow institutions to customize the look and feel of the video player used across courses.  
By aligning the video player with your institution’s branding, you can create a consistent and professional learning experience for your learners.

## Accessing Video Player Settings

1. Log in to **MyStudio** as an **Admin**.  
2. From the left-hand menu, go to **Brand** > **Video Player**.  
3. The Video Player Settings page will open, with options for customizing colors, watermarks, and branding.

## Customization Options

* **Primary Theme Color**  
  Set the main highlight color of the video player.  
  This applies to elements like the progress bar and active controls.  

* **Control Bar Color**  
  Choose the background color for the video control bar (play, pause, volume, etc.).  
  This allows you to align the player controls with your brand identity.  

* **Watermark Position**  
  Select where your watermark will appear on the video.  
  Options include **Top Left**, **Top Right**, **Bottom Left**, and **Bottom Right**.  

* **Watermark Logo**  
  Upload your institution’s logo to serve as a watermark on all videos.  
* Recommended format: PNG (transparent background preferred).  
* This prevents unauthorized reuse of video content and strengthens brand presence.

## Previewing Changes

After selecting your colors and uploading a watermark, the **preview player** on the page will update automatically.  
This lets you see how your learners will experience videos before saving the changes.

* Use a **subtle watermark** in a corner that doesn’t distract learners.  
* Choose colors with good **contrast** for accessibility and readability.  
* Keep your watermark **consistent** across all courses for strong brand identity.
