Editing or deleting a playlist (MyStudio)


In MyStudio, playlists are fully manageable even after they’ve been created.

You can edit a playlist to update its contents or details, or delete it if it is no longer needed.



Editing a Playlist


  1. From the left-hand menu, go to Playlists.
  2. Select the playlist you want to edit.
  3. Inside the playlist view, you can:
  • Change details: Edit the playlist’s name, description, or tags.
  • Reorder items: Drag and drop courses or videos to change their sequence.
  • Add content: Click Add Content to include new courses or videos.
  • Remove content: Select the delete/remove option next to any item.
  1. Changes are saved immediately and reflected for learners.


⚠️ If a playlist is already assigned, edits will be visible to all users/groups who have access to it.



Deleting a Playlist


  1. From the Playlists section, locate the playlist you want to remove.
  2. Click the Delete option (trash icon or menu).
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
  4. The playlist will be removed from MyStudio and from learners’ dashboards.


⚠️ Deleting a playlist is permanent. Learners will lose access to the assigned playlist immediately.



Best Practices


  • Use Edit for small changes like updating videos or rearranging order.
  • Only delete playlists that are no longer relevant or required.
  • For recurring training, consider duplicating or updating a playlist instead of deleting it.
