# Editing or deleting a playlist (MyStudio)

# Editing or deleting a playlist (MyStudio)

In **MyStudio**, playlists are fully manageable even after they’ve been created.  
You can **edit** a playlist to update its contents or details, or **delete** it if it is no longer needed.

## Editing a Playlist

1. From the left-hand menu, go to **Playlists**.  
2. Select the playlist you want to edit.  
3. Inside the playlist view, you can:  
* **Change details**: Edit the playlist’s **name**, **description**, or **tags**.  
* **Reorder items**: Drag and drop courses or videos to change their sequence.  
* **Add content**: Click **Add Content** to include new courses or videos.  
* **Remove content**: Select the delete/remove option next to any item.  
4. Changes are saved immediately and reflected for learners.  

> ⚠️ If a playlist is already assigned, edits will be visible to all users/groups who have access to it.

## Deleting a Playlist

1. From the **Playlists** section, locate the playlist you want to remove.  
2. Click the **Delete** option (trash icon or menu).  
3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.  
4. The playlist will be removed from MyStudio and from learners’ dashboards.  

> ⚠️ Deleting a playlist is permanent. Learners will lose access to the assigned playlist immediately.

## Best Practices

* Use **Edit** for small changes like updating videos or rearranging order.  
* Only **delete** playlists that are no longer relevant or required.  
* For recurring training, consider duplicating or updating a playlist instead of deleting it.
