Using playlist templates (MyStudio)
In MyStudio, you can use playlist templates to speed up the process of creating new playlists.
Templates provide a ready-made structure of videos or courses that you can adapt to your institution’s needs.
Where to Find Playlist Templates
There are two main entry points:
- Create Button (Left Menu)
 
- Click the red Create button.
 - In the Create modal, select Playlist.
 - Choose From Template to browse available templates.
 
- Templates Page
 
- Navigate to the Templates section in the left-hand menu.
 - Filter or search for playlist templates.
 - Select the one that matches your use case.
 
Creating a Playlist from a Template
- Select a playlist template.
 - Review its structure (the order of videos, courses, or learning items included).
 - Click Create from Template.
 - Fill in playlist details:
 
- Playlist Name
 - Description
 - Category/Tags (optional)
 
- Once created, the playlist will appear in your Playlists list, ready to customize.
 
Customising the Template
- Add new items: Insert additional courses or videos.
 - Remove items: Delete any content not relevant to your learners.
 - Reorder items: Drag and drop to change the sequence.
 - Edit details: Update the name, description, or tags to reflect your institution’s needs.
