# What are playlists?

**Playlists** are curated collections of course content, created and assigned by institutions using **MyStudio**.  
They help learners follow a guided path through selected videos, readings, or modules without enrolling in a full course.

## Key Points About Playlists

* **Institution-only feature**: Playlists are available only if your institution has subscribed to **MyStudio**.  
* **Assigned by admins/instructors**: You cannot create your own playlist as an individual learner.  
* **Location**: If you are assigned a playlist, it will appear under the **My Playlists** tab on your **Dashboard** in EBC Learning.  
* **Contents**: A playlist may include videos, readings, and other course materials grouped around a theme or skill.
